George teetered on in large platforms and looked great in
cape and spangle as he performed as David Bowie in the UK TV show ITV1 Popstars in Their Eyes on Oct 6 2001. George won, of course, the competition and he was mimicking the word "fix" as he came to do an encore. Special thanks to Jesus Soler!
