Open House With Gloria Hunniford
These marvelous pictures was taken by Jesus & Jaime, exept
for the backstage one taken by Paul Farrell - Boy George's
personal assistant.

Only a few lines to describe about the amazing experience
we had at the recording of Channel Five's "Open House
With Gloria Hunniford" special tv program with Boy George
as main guest, though we should not forget to mention his
mum, Dinah O'Dowd and T-Total (Tasty Tim & Robert) who
performed with Boy George three of the cover versions for
the album which will come out sometime in Autumn/Winter.
We arrived around 7pm to Channel Five studio's Thames TV,
with our very special friends from Finland, Mikko & Tatu,
dressed up in our 80's and Taboo inspired customes, as Vicky
Butler (head of audience) suggested to us we could do a few
days before.
Even though we had to wait a bit longer to get in due to some
more rehearsals they needed to do, the waiting seemed quite
short as we were given some tasty coffee & cookies and
also we had the chance to meet and take photos with other
people who came from as far as Belfast (sweet and young!!!
Matthew and his friend), Japan (Mai, lovely to see you and
your friend again) and Brighton (Shan, a very pretty girl
with her boyfriend) and also Dawn & Julie, just to mention
a few.
When we finally made our way into the studio, we were assigned
to be seated and while Channel Five's staff were preparing
for Boy George & T-total to come out, we were entertained
by a quite unprepared member of the staff, who hardly new
anything to do with Boy George or Taboo, but was somehow funny
and charming.
When the recording finished and as they were leaving the studio,
we could see Boy George was talking to some members of the
staff and also to Paul (George's personal assistant) and pointing
to some people of the audience. As we were standing up to
leave, Paul came up and told us to accompany him, and took
us backstage to meet Boy George and Tasty Tim, George then
ask us to take some photos and after a few words (that shall
remain private for the time being, sorry guys & gals)
and telling us he was going away for the weekend, we kissed
each other goodbye.
We then went To Steven Strange new club opening night called
Pcok2 (a fantastic venue in Holborn) and danced to Tasty Tim's
records.
